Dear friend in Christ,
Thank you for your inquiry. We are always happy to hear from those who may be interested in the W. W .A. C.
Here is the information you requested and an application.
Every year over 4 million Americans pursue some form of home study program from over 600 institutions that offer correspondence courses.
The Church and Bible Schools are the backbone of the morality of any country, therefore the more, the better. Bible Colleges and Institutes are the educational arm of the Body of Christ and such Para-Church ministries are never to be under-estimated in their influence and significance.
Continuing Christian Education is one of the greatest ministries in the world today involving many who are on the cutting edge of the Cause of Christ.
The quality of educational services offered by our member institutions helps build the Christian character of students, who in turn directly impact the world for Christ.
This is why we are dedicated to promoting and upholding professional Christian Educators, who are committed to motivating, activating, and mobilizing Christian workers and ministers around the globe.
Only you and the Lord know the amount of time, work, and money invested in your school on an on-going basis. And we want to assist you in your divine mission from God.
I am sure as you read the following information you will prayerfully consider the benefits of becoming a part of the W. W.A.C. We would consider it an honor to evaluate your school for accreditation. This might be just what you have been looking for. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. May the Lord richly bless you and your work for His glory?
Respectfully in Christ,

1. STUDENTS WANT TO KNOW
Anyone making an effort to motivate people to study the Scriptures is to be highly commended; and those inspired by God to found a Bible school certainly deserves recognition.
The production of curriculum and the development of programs can represent years of labor-intensive work. Starting a Bible Institute is a very great accomplishment, and accreditation is the public crowning of that achievement.
Of course, every Theological Seminary was unknown when it first began, and it usually requires years of consistent performance to build a good reputation. Christian educational institutions need all the credibility that they can get, but it's usually difficult to become nationally known. But with some outside assistance you can become more widely known faster.
In the commercial world of today, consumers have learned that all is not what it appears to be so they say "buyer beware." Likewise, if a student is going to expend time, effort, and money to obtain a degree, it is particularly important to know of the legitimacy, integrity, and prestige of the institution from which it comes.
So how can a prospective student know if the school they are considering is of good quality or not? Well, they realize that an outside viewpoint is more likely to be objective. Thus we have accrediting agencies.
An Accreditation Agency is a kind of consumer protection agency in the field of education to ensure as far as possible that a school is what it says it is and does what it says it does.
So the first question in the mind of an informed prospective student is, "Is your school accredited, and by whom?"
All other things being equal, a smart prospective student would definitely prefer an accredited school over an unaccredited one. Accreditation also assures other schools, agencies, and organizations that your school:
·     Has appropriate and clearly defined objectives.·     That you offer valid programs and meet with acceptable standards in the world of education.·     That what you promise, you deliver.
2. WHAT IS ACCREDITATION?
By definition, the word "accredit" means to authorize, endorse, and officially approve of. What ordination is to a minister, accreditation is to a school. Accreditation is a group process by which schools voluntarily agree to participate in a set of established standards in order to encourage quality education.
Schools are not legally required to become accredited, but it is a very desirable standing. Accredited status means a school has voluntarily undergone a comprehensive examination to determine that it operates at a worthy level of performance.
3. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE
There is secular education and there is religious education.
Secular schools seek secular education, and sacred schools receive sacred accreditation—each by their own peers.
Religious institutions need no secular accreditation because they offer no secular degrees.
Secular accreditation associations in turn are recognized by governmental agencies. They trace their authority back to the capitol of a country, like Washington, D.C.
Religious accrediting associations are recognized by the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, which has no supreme central office on earth. Our authority is derived directly from Heaven.
Civil and religious interests are different and have separate realms of jurisdiction.
The State is not superior to the Church. The Church need not wait for approval from the secular world.
Civil agencies should not be dictating standards of Christian education, any more than a police officer should be directing the worship of God.
Theological Seminaries should not be accredited by accrediting associations that are "recognized" by an agency of the federal government, because it is contrary to the Biblical principle of "Separation of Church and State," indicated by Christ when He said, "...Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's..." (Mark 12:17).
What business does a Christian educator have going to the world of unbelievers for recognition and acknowledgement when II Cor. 6:14 clearly tells us, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?"
A Christian educational institution securing accreditation from an association which is attached to a governmental agency is a Scripturally condemned and unholy union as James 4:4 says, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?"
The World Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Educational Institution, in accordance with the inspired teaching of the Bible, has chosen not to seek endorsement from either the EAES or CHEA.
4. BOGUS ACCREDITATION
Accrediting standards differ widely from agency to agency. Some are next to impossible to get into, and others don't check anything. Any so-called accrediting society that offers to accredit your school without knowing anything about your school is just trying to sell you an expensive piece of paper.
As there are bogus schools that sell Doctorate degrees, even so there are bogus accrediting agencies that will accept anyone who pays their fee.
It is highly unethical for a Bible Institute to accredit itself. It is like a minister ordaining himself. But such worthless self-accreditation is exactly what most “degree mills” do. They try to conceal the fact that their so-called school and so-called accrediting association is at the same place by offering no address for the accrediting association, which is why some accrediting associations are unlocatable.
But the W.W.A.C. has nothing to hide because we know where we stand with God and with man. We can't please everyone, but we are not afraid of honest questions and reasonable requests.
All of our member schools are encouraged to list our name and address in their catalogs and bulletins. And you may rest assured, that when called upon to verify your accreditation with us, we shall render ample support.
5. WHAT IS THE W.W.A.C.?
The W.W.A.C. is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to making a significant contribution to the promotion of Christian education everywhere. We are governed by a Board of Directors, all of whom are reputable born-again Christians. The W.W.A.C. was founded to:
·     Upgrade standards of scholarship among evangelical educational institutions.·     To award certificates of accreditation to deserving schools.·     To continue to monitor compliance with set standards.
We specialize in Theological Seminaries, Christian Colleges, and Bible Institutes of all sizes, including both traditional and alternative programs. We are also concerned with helping any formal ministry teaching the Word of God in an on-going relationship between instructor and students, which may not fit into any denominational mold, to develop into a viable school.
The W.W.A.C. is part of the Full Gospel of Christ Fellowship, Inc., which was originally founded early 1972 in Houston, Texas and functions within the 501©3 status of the Internal Revenue Service. The Board of Directors of the F.G.C.F.I. has formally given its full recognition, endorsement, and approval of the W.W.A.C.
F.G.C.F.I. has licensed and ordained about 385 Pastors and Evangelists, and is held in highest esteem by them. This parent Organization also has about 190 Churches and Evangelistic Associations, who are legally affiliated with it, some very sizable and bearing much good fruit for the glory of God.
The W.W.A.C. holds itself accountable to God, the Church, the laws of the land, and the general public. We are non-governmentally connected and we do not engage in partisan political activities. Unlike regional accrediting associations which are limited to one area, we were established as a multi-national association of Christian Educational Institutions.
The W.W.A.C. is grateful for the opportunity of meeting a real need; and we are thankful for the enthusiastic comments of the global Christian Educational community, as well as the blessings of God. We are one of the most reasonable and one of the fastest expanding networks of Christian Institutions of its kind.
6. OTHER RESOURSES AVAILABLE
·     Any Chancellor, Teacher or other School official, who nay may need Ministerial credentials.
·     Any School that needs to be legally set up as a non-profit 501©3 organization, we can save you a lot of work, time, and money.
·     Any School who would like to enlarge its curriculum, we sell Bible Courses with full copy right privileges to reprint and use in any way.
7. THE FOUNDER
The W.W.A.C. was founded by Dr. Paul Richardson and a group of Christian Educators associated with the Spirit of Truth Institute.
Dr. Richardson has been in full-time Christian service since September, 1958. He is also the Chancellor of the Spirit of Truth Institute, which is not accredited by the W.W.A.C., but by another agency.
Being involved in Christian higher education for some years, he has an understanding of the difficulties that confront school administrators, and after some urging by friends finally felt led to fulfill the vision God gave him in 1981 of establishing the W. W .A. C.
Dr. Richardson founded two Churches in Texas, two in North Carolina, and now with his wife, Dr. Faye Richardson, co-pastors Christ Worship Center, a Bible-Believing, Christ-Centered, and Spirit-Filled Church, where many scores of ministers have been ordained.
Dr. Richardson has taken missions to Japan, Israel, and etc. and has appeared on numerous Television programs.
8. OUR VISION
Proverbs 29: 11 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish..."
1. Our vision is to promote quality Christian education everywhere; and to serve those dedicated to teaching Christians and training ministers.
2. Our mission is to meet the needs of unaccredited, independent Bible Institutes that grant academic degrees.
3. Our purpose is to foster professional standards, integrity, and accountability among our member schools.
4. Our goal is to enable Evangelical Educational Institutions to demonstrate that they meet or exceed acceptable standards of operation and performance.
5. We want to assist fundamental pastors, who conduct seminars and workshops in their Churches in an on-going basis to set up their own Bible School.
6. The W. W .A.C. was also founded to disseminate information about our member schools and provide referrals about non-traditional educational options.
7. Another duty is to advise the general public of the current status of the institutions that we have accredited, and assure prospective students of their academic qualifications.
By the grace of God we are continuing to accomplish these objectives.
9. DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
In a way all the world is a classroom and the Spirit of God is our daily Teacher; but the Bible is the basis of all true education, and should be at the heart of every school's curriculum.
We are very concerned about the Scriptural soundness of the teachings of our member schools. Of course, we don't attempt to judge every doctrinal detail, but all of our schools should be in general agreement with the following statement of faith:
1. We believe all the Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the infallible and authoritative rule of all doctrine and practice for the church today.
2. There is only one true and living God: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost ---one in three and three in one.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, is the Divine Son of God, lived a sinless life, worked miracles, and provided for our salvation and healing through his suffering. He was bodily resurrected from the dead, ascended to heaven, is at the right hand of God, from whence he shall soon return to rule the kingdom of God. He is the only Savior of all mankind.
4. All men are sinners by nature and subject to eternal judgment. Man is a free moral agent to choose salvation by repentance from sin and faith on Christ.
5. New converts are to be baptized in water, pray daily, study the Bible regularly, and fellowship the Church often. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power from on high and the Gifts thereof are both needed and available today.
6. Christ is the Founder and Head of the Church, which is made up of every born-again believer on earth. We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.
7. We believe in an endless hell and an everlasting heaven. There are angels and demons. 10. SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
·     There should be a legal instrument or formal document creating and naming your educational institution.
·     It should state your purpose and clearly define your educational objectives.
·     You should have a Board of Directors, who have agreed to serve on it (usually three to nine in number).
·     All officers and faculty of your school must exemplify good Christian character. Immoral or unbecoming conduct by staff or personal must not be tolerated.
·     If you are going to confer academic degree, you should check with your state's Higher Education Coordinating Board to obtain a “religious exemption”. Most states do not charge a fee for this.
·     You must be totally honest in your school advertisements, catalogs, etc. All promotional literature must be truthful.
·     All full-time instructors should possess an earned degree.
·     Faculty to student ratio must reflect a realistic work load, so teachers can provide sufficient care and encouragement to individual students.
·     Admission policies must be in accordance with federal anti-discrimination laws (i.e., students must not be excluded from any educational program on the grounds of race, color, or national origin).
·     Institutions must provide students with a catalog, bulletin, or information sheet describing its curriculum, certificates, and fees. The literature should also not mislead the reader into believing that the accreditation from the W.W.A.C. is connected in anyway with any governmental agency.
·     All degree candidates should hold a high school diploma, a G.E.D., or the equivalent.
·     All schools must be in general harmony with fundamental Christian teachings.
·     On campus colleges must provide adequate classroom facilities to accommodate student needs. They should be safe and conducive for learning.
·     Schools should require a minimum of one year or the equivalent for each level of their certificates.
·     Students must be advised of all fees, tuition, and refund policies prior to admission.
·     There should be sufficient office space to maintain files and student records. Students shall have access to their own transcripts.
·     Christian schools must understand their vital relationship with local Churches inasmuch "...as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it..." Eph.5:25
·     Schools should be able to demonstrate a satisfactory period of ethical operation.
If you embrace these ideals, your school is cordially invites to seek membership in the W.W.A.C. If you fall beneath these standards, you will find the effort to qualify for membership in the W.W.A.C. well worth it.

11. WHO ARE YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS?
The W.W.A.C. includes some of the most spiritually effective schools in the world, as we accept only good Bible teaching institutions.
We accredit Christian schools on both the undergraduate and graduate levels—both colleges with campuses and colleges without campuses. But none of our Christian educational institutions offer any secular programs or degrees.
The W.W.A.C. is whole-heartedly dedicated to foreign missions and happy to include colleges and universities located overseas, provided they communicate with us in English.
Some of our schools started out as modest as a weekly class for local students in a storefront building. And we include some small special interest institutions that have elected non-traditional methods of instruction delivery such as audio and video tapes, the popular correspondence courses, and the Internet.
12. EXCLUSIONS
The W.W.A.C. will not accept into membership any colleges or universities which include in their curriculum courses on metaphysics, parapsychology, psychical research, hypnotism, E.S.P., Eastern-types of meditation, or the theory of evolution or reincarnation. We reject all so-called new-age, neo-paganism, humanistic, occultist, Ancient Mysticism, or any other ungodly teachings.
13. SITE INSPECTIONS
During the accreditation process, an on-site inspection may be made by an outside peer, where practical. The purpose is to make observations and gather data to determine if a school meets the set of standards of the W.W.A.C.
We have representatives in many cities of the U.S.A. that could visit your school to acquire this first-hand knowledge for evaluation, although in some places, especially overseas, this must be handled by special evaluation reports.
It is unnecessary to insist upon expensive on-site inspections in some cases because of the high degree of mutual respect and trust between the W.W.A.C. and ministers we already know.
14. THREE STAGES OF ACCREDITATION
As the Church has traditionally recognized three ranks of those called to the ministry:
1) Exhorter, 2) Licensed, and 3) Ordained;
--- Even so, the accreditation process is identifiable in three distinct phases:
1) Applicant, 2) Associate, and3) Accredited.
But with the W.W.A.C. you will not have to wait years to get through the steps.
I. APPLICANT or PROVINCIAL STATUS: This means that a school has submitted an application with the fee and we have acknowledged that the school is in existence.
II. ASSOCIATE or CANDIDATE STATUS: The interval between our examining your application and your actually receiving a Certificate of Accreditation.
This may mean that you are working to meet a certain requirement to rise up to our standards or it might mean that you are awaiting an on-site visit and report approval, or that we are in the process of verifying the special evaluation report. Usually this will be a relatively short period of time.
III. FULLY ACCREDITED MEMBER STATUS: This means that the on-site visit report has been approved, or the special evaluation report has been verified and accepted, and that the W.W.A.C. has concluded that you have met or exceeded the minimum standards set, and that your school has been awarded the Certificate of Accreditation. It is very large.
15. YOUR CERTIFICATE
Upon determination that your school has satisfactorily met or exceeded the predetermined professional standards of the W.W.A.C., you will receive a beautiful Certificate of Accreditation to be displayed in your school office or classroom for all to see.
It certifies that you are recognized as a reliable Christian school engaged in teaching God's Word. It shows that we have judged your school to be a legitimate and worthy school, offering quality instruction.
It states that you are a member in good standing with the W.W.A.C. and indicates that you are pledged to maintaining Christian educational excellence.
16. ANNUAL RENEWAL
The W.W.A.C. keeps a confidential file on your school, containing your application, the on-site visit or special evaluation report, all legal documentation, and other supporting information. This file is maintained perpetually.
Each member institution is also required to submit an annual report on the form provided by the W.W.A.C. at the time.
Any member school which fails to maintain the standards of the W.W.A.C., or fails to submit the annual report and renewal fees within thirty days after notification, will be placed on probation until such deficiencies have been rectified.
17. WHY SCHOOLS CHOOSE THE W.W.A.C.
·     In order to be accredited without compromising the Scriptural principal of “Separation of Church and state”
·     To be associated with other like-minded and respectable Christian Schools
·     To receive greater incentive to achieve and maintain a more professional quality of performance
·     Because of the attainable standards and reasonable fees of the W.W.A.C.
18. MULTIPLE ACCREDITATION
It is not uncommon for schools to be recognized by more than one outside organization, nor is it unethical for a Theological Seminary or Bible college to be accreted by more than one accreditation association, and some are. Your school is entitled to as many sources of recognition as you wish, and it is rather desirable sometimes.
19. FAIR FEE POLICY
Although accreditation status represents a significant personal and financial commitment, it is not bought. It is earned.
Most accreditation associations are far too expensive for many schools. For instance, the American Association of Bible Colleges charges a minimum of $350, plus $500 for the evaluation team visit, plus their expenses of travel, room, and board for some days. Others charge up to $1000 and some bring in over $ 500, 000 a year.
Also most accrediting associations put all their schools on the same accounting cycle and do not prorate fees for schools that apply at different times of the year.
But you can join the W.W.A.C. at any time of the year for a full twelve month membership; and we operate on a sliding scale with a minimum and maximum fee.
We charge only $1 per student --- with a fixed maximum of $100 and a fixed minimum of $50. We feel this is low enough to fit the most modest school budget.
EXAMPLE OF FEES
10 to 50 students…………………………………. $ 50.00 fee per year60 students…………………………………………. $60.00 fee per year75 students …………………………………………..$75.00 fee per year85 students …………………………………………. $85.00 fee per year100- 1000 students……………..………………… $ 100.00 fee per year
So the question at once becomes, "Can you afford to not be accredited by the W .W .A. C.
However, no application will be considered without enclosure of the appropriate fee, payable by check or money order. Please do not send cash. If your application is unacceptable for any reason, you will be informed why, and your complete fee will be returned.
20. CONCLUSION
A school without any accreditation may rely upon the good will of the students alone, but this is an unnecessary limitation.
A preacher or school may say, "I have approval from God!" Wonderful!
But why not have power and favor from both God and man like·     Jacob --- Gen. 32:28, ·     Joseph --- Gen. 29:21,·     Samuel --- I Sam. 2:26, and ·     Jesus ---  Lk. 2:53.
Accreditation with W .W .A.C. could provide the added boost your school has needed. Every serious Christian educational institution should voluntarily seek accreditation to promote a professional public image and increase the prestige of its certificates, diplomas, and degrees. Whether your school is new or old, small or large, campus or correspondence only, we believe we can be a benefit to your school; and we hope you will allow us the opportunity to serve your interests.
